Richard L. Gilbert
has maintained a full-time practice providing a full range of
Alternative Dispute Resolution Services since 1994. Judge Gilbert
served as Judge of the Superior Court from 1983-1991, with
assignments as Presiding Judge, law and motion judge, and in
general trial departments. Before appointment to the bench, Judge
Gilbert was the elected District Attorney of Yolo County, practiced
privately with a general practice firm in Sacramento and served as
a deputy district attorney. Before beginning his current practice
in Alternative Dispute Resolution, Judge Gilbert was legal counsel
for and directly involved in business development and management
for several private concerns, including two NASDAQ listed
companies.
Amanda C. Gilbert
joins the firm after service as a Deputy District Attorney in
Sacramento County. Ms. Gilbert enjoyed jury trial and other varied
litigation experience in Sacramento County and with the Placer
County District Attorney. Ms. Gilbert is a graduate of McGeorge
School of Law, where her studies included Alternative Dispute
Resolution. Her current practice includes mediation of civil
matters and attorney staff support for Judge Gilbert in the
management of complex and multi-party
litigation.
Ms. Gilbert also serves as Legal Assistant, evaluating how
we can best serve our clients. She also coordinates scheduling and
makes and confirms all necessary arrangements for our clients and
assists in case management of ongoing
matters.
